2013-14 NFL Playoff Scenario

Alright so it is finally official and all the teams are set. In just a few more weeks we will be down to the last two teams meeting at MetLife Stadium for Super Bowl XLVIII.

Here are the official seedings for this years playoffs.

NFC:

  1. (13-3)Seattle Seahawks

  2. (12-4)Carolina Panthers

  3. (10-6)Philadelphia Eagles

  4. (8-7-1)Green Bay Packers

  5. (12-4)San Francisco 49ers

  6. (11-5)New Orleans Saints

AFC:

  1. (13-3)Denver Broncos

  2. (12-4)New England Patriots

  3. (11-5)Cincinnati Bengals

  4. (11-5)Indianapolis Colts

  5. (11-5)Kansas City Chiefs

  6. (9-7)San Diego Chargers

The top 2 seeds in each conference will have next week off and the playoffs will start next weekend with all of the Wild Card match-ups.

Saturday, January 4th:

(#5) Kansas City Chiefs @ (#4) Indianapolis Colts
(#6)New Orleans Saints @ (#3)Philadelphia Eagles

Sunday, January 5th:

(#6)San Diego Chargers @ (#3)Cincinnati Bengals
(#5)San Francisco 49ers @ (#4)Green Bay Packers

The lowest seed out of all the winners from Wild Card weekend will then play the #1 seed in each conference and the top seed winner in from each conference will take on the #2 seeds in each conference.

I will be doing my end of the week Preview and Predictions for each game that you should check out. Last weekend I predicted the winner of every game but 2 in Week 17, (2 straight weeks of going 14-2). Come back later this week and see who I got winning this weekend in the Wild Card games.

As for now just sit back and relax, the Road to Super Bowl XLVIII is upon us!
