NFL Fantasy Football Who's Hot/Who's Not -RB's- Week 10

Who saw last week's top performers coming? Certainly not me, but as an owner of Chris Johnson I definitely was not mad about it. Tennessee Titans RB Chris Johnson and St Louis Rams RB Zac Stacy each scored twice last Sunday and scored 29 Fantasy points in Standard ESPN leagues.

This week Johnson will be facing a Jacksonville Jaguars team that, lets face it if you have anybody playing them on a given week they should at the very least be heavily considered as a starter. Zac Stacy on the other hand will be facing an Indianapolis Colts defense that is ranked 6th against RB's and have only allowed four rushing TD's all season, but with only Green Bay Packers Eddie Lacy gaining more yards since Week 5, Stacy should easily be a Flex/RB2.

Now for those of you who are having a tough time deciding on which RB to start going into Week 10, this list is here for you. I will fill this list with players who have a great match-up but I try not to include the easy decisions, such as Adrian Peterson, LeSean McCoy, or Marshawn Lynch because those should be an automatic start every week, unless of course their on a Bye week.

RB - Who's Hot
  • Mike James - RB Tampa Bay Buccaneers - James scorched the Seattle Seahawks defense last week, rushing for 158 yds on 28 attempts. This week he will be facing up against a Miami Dolphins defense that have given up 5 TD's to opposing RB's in the last 3 games. James is going to be a great fill in until/if Doug Martin returns, so use him as much as much as you can  (Martin may be placed on IR this weekend).
  • Trent Richardson/Donald Brown - RB's Indianapolis Colts - This one in my eyes is a toss up. With the way Richardson has played since being traded to the Colts, (2 TD's, no game over 60 yds rushing) I don't feel too comfortable with him but he is going up against St Louis defense that gave up 3 TD's to RB's last week (2 TD's by Chris Johnson). If available I would consider Donald Brown if you are looking for a Bye week fill in.
  • CJ Spiller/Fred Jackson - RB's Buffalo Bills - Unlike the one above I feel very comfortable with starting both RB's here. CJ Spiller is finally seeming fully healed from his ankle injury and Fred Jackson is still going to get his goal line touches, and matching up against a Pittsburgh Steelers' defense that gave up 5 TD's in the last two games to opposing RB's. There should be plenty of scoring to go around for both RB's this weekend.
  • Danny Woodhead - RB San Diego Chargers - Woodhead and the Chargers will be facing off against the Denver Broncos. Woodhead being the great pass catching RB that he is, should be in for a decent game against a Broncos' defense that has given up 4 passing TD's to opposing RB's on the year. Phillip Rivers uses Woodhead as a security blanket, much like they used Darren Sproles while he was in San Diego, and has a great shot at breaking paydirt come this Sunday.
RB - Who's Not
  • Rashad Jennings - RB Oakland Raiders - Jennings will be facing up against a tough opponent this week in the New York Giants who have only allowed two 100 yd rushers all season and have allowed only 4 rushing TD's on the season. He had a great game last week against an Eagles team that was more focused on not giving up their lead more than stopping the run, although Jennings is capable of catching a few passes himself. On match-up alone I don't like Jennings this week but if you can, try and tuck him away on your bench  and hold him off for a better match-up.
  • Cincinnati Bengals RB's - The Bengals are playing the Baltimore Ravens this weekend, who are ranked #1 against RB's in Fantasy Football. The Ravens have only allowed 1 TD to a RB this season and that was back in Week 4 when they were upset by the Buffalo Bills. I don't expect the Ravens to be caught off guard this week against a division rival. With these Bengals running backs still having no game rushing over 100 yds I would leave them alone for this match-up unless you literally have no other option.
  • Ben Tate - RB Houston Texans - Tate is filling in for an injured Arian Foster, and had a season high 22 carries last week despite 4 broken ribs. This week he will be facing an Arizona Cardinals defense that has only allowed 2 TD's to RB's on the year.
  • Ray Rice - RB Baltimore Ravens - With only 3 TD's on the season and still has yet to break over 74 yds rushing in a game I am sitting Ray Rice. He unfortunately was my first pick the draft this year and hes let me down tremendously. Now whether that is because of injuries or play calling does not matter any longer to me. The fact remains the same, Ray Rice has moved out of the elite for now. Until he shows me he still has something to prove he will be a Flex at best. Against the Bengals who have only given up 2 TD's to RB's this season I would not play Rice unless your other options are any of the RB's I mentioned above.
I hope this list will help you out this weekend so that you can start setting yourself up for Fantasy Football Playoffs. If you need help at WR Check out my Hot/Not WR's, and if QB is where you need the help then check out my QB list as well, Hot/Not QB's.
GOOD LUCK!

Thank you for taking the time to read my posts. Be sure to share this with everyone you know who plays Fantasy Football, unless of course your playing them in that case just wait to show them Monday evening or something.
