NFL Week 10 Preview and Predictions

Approaching Week 10 of the 2013 NFL Season we have had quite a wild ride the past week. For all the scoop on last week check out my post, "NFL Week 9 Mayhem 2013". We are onto a new week of football, which means a new week for breaking news. I personally can't wait to see what this weekend unfolds for us. Last night was Thursday Night Football between Washington and Minnesota that was actually a very entertaining game.

Thursday Night Football Recap:
WSH @ MIN
What a great game we had last night. It was the Washington Football Team against the Minnesota Vikings in a showdown at the Mall Of America Dome in Minneapolis, MN. The game started great for both teams, except for 1 INT by Vikings QB Christian Ponder on his first drive of the game. The Vikings defense gave up 24 points in the first half, with 3 TD's thrown by Robert Griffin III. The second half all that ended with the Vikings defense stepping up and only allowing a field goal the rest of the game. Washington on the other hand gave up 20 unanswered points after their field goal on their opening drive of the 2nd half. Adrian Peterson was then able to run out the clock and left RG3 and company with 3:36 left in the 4th to try a miraculous comeback. RG3 was able to get his team into the red zone but could not convert with his final pass attempt going to WR Santana Moss trying to bring in the ball but could not keep his feet inside the end zone.
MIN over WSH 34-27

Now on to the part where I make my predictions as well as a one sentence preview of each game.

NFL Week 10 Preview and Predictions:

Sunday Games:

SEA @ ATL - Seattle is coming into this game with something to prove to themselves after last year's debacle when they had the chance to win but their defense let Matt Ryan and Co. finish them off with a last second field goal
SEA over ATL 28-17

DET @ CHI - Cutler back which means INT's shouldn't be too far behind.
DET over CHI 30-28

PHI @ GB - No Rodgers and Nick Foles coming off one of the best QB games in history with 7 TD's, I think I smell an upset here
PHI over GB 35-27 *UPSET ALERT*

JAX @ TEN - Jacksonville is still without a win, and with Chris Johnson looking a lot more like his former self, Let the good times roll; Sorry Jacksonville better luck next year
TEN over JAX 25-14

STL @ IND - With Indianapolis coming off a Bye week and St Louis coming off a tough loss to the Titans last week, I'm going with the home team.
IND over STL 23-15

OAK @ NYG - The Giants finally look to be gaining momentum and what better way to prove it than to have the Oakland Raiders come to town.
NYG over OAK 33-30

BUF @ PIT - Buffalo gets rookie QB EJ Manuel back this Sunday, but the RB duo of Fred Jackson and CJ Spiller are the real difference makers this Sunday.
BUF over PIT 27-24

CIN @ BAL - Cincinnati is coming off an ugly loss last Thursday night and Baltimore has yet to look like the Super Bowl Champs of last year
CIN over BAL 21-18

CAR @ SF - Game of the Day possibilities; With the way the Panther's have been racking up points on opponents and the 49ers five game win streak, this game has everything you need for a good ol' fashion Slobber Knocker. Advantage home team
SF over CAR 27-21

DEN @ SD  - Broncos old OC (Offensive coordinator) now coaching the Chargers, new DC (Defensive coordinator) filling in as interim coach since head coach had heart surgery, too many side issues for Broncos reminds me of Colts game
SD over DEN 41-38 *USPET ALERT*

HOU @ ARI - Houston is going to be without too many key pieces; Coach Kubiak, RB Arian Foster, QB Matt Schaub.
ARI over HOU 23-17

Sunday Night Football
DAL @ NO - Saints coming off a tough loss to the Jets and Dallas getting a lucky win over the Vikings last week, lightning doesn't strike twice.
NO over DAL 38-34

Monday Night Football
MIA @ TB - Mike Glennon is playing great and so is back up RB Mike James, I say they finally get over the hump at home this Monday night especially with all the other stuff Miami has been worrying about since last week's game.
TB over MIA 24-21 *UPSET ALERT* (this would be considered an upset even with all the off the field issues with Miami, right?)

These are just my own thoughts, although I do base them off of statistics and I always feel good about my choices. Hope you all enjoy the wonderful weekend of football we have approaching.
If you need any help with your fantasy team feel free to check out my other posts; QB help, WR help, RB help.

Thanks for reading, I hope you enjoyed and have a great weekend!
Pass this along to all your other sports friends so they can have some ideas of how these games will likely play out.
