Fantasy Football Who's Hot/Who's Not - QB's - Week 6

A lot of people are coming into Week 6 in need of some help whether its waiver wire pick-ups or who to start/ who to bench. This will be here to help you in your attempt to be Fantasy Football League Champ! This list will be including players that may or may not be waiver wire pick-ups.

QB - Who's Hot

  • Tony Romo - Romo is going against a Washington defense that has let opposing QB's shred 'em apart this season. The only decent game the Washington defense had so far this season was against a Raiders team that had the recently unemployed Matt Flynn as their QB. Romo is averaging 2.6 TD's per game this year and expect the trend to continue against divisional rival Washington this weekend.
  • Jay Cutler - Now I know what your thinking, Jay "I Love Throwing INT's" Cutler? Yes he is averaging an INT a game, and yes he is averaging .5 Fumbles a game, but hey he will be playing against a New York Giant defense that is giving up 2.4 TD's per game. Cutler is almost a must start against this Giants defense. Play him if you don't have a top 8 QB.
  • Alex Smith - Kansas City has divisional rival Oakland coming to town this weekend. The Raiders are giving up almost 2 TD's per game and Alex Smith already has 5 TD's in 2 home games. I expect Smith to throw for 2 TD's and maybe even rush one in, who knows. If you are in need of a QB this weekend and Smith is available, snatch him up.

QB - Who's Not

  • All Minnesota QB's - I would leave all of them alone this weekend. Not only is it a gamble on who will start, but whoever does get the nod will be going up a tough Carolina Defense that will be licking their chops every time a QB drops back. STAY AWAY!
  • Matthew Stafford - Stafford will be going up against one of the best CB's in the league, Cleveland's Joe Haden (Who will be covering Megatron if healthy, if not healthy then Ryan Broyles doesn't stand a chance against Haden). The Browns have only allowed 2 Passing TD's this year and still have yet to give up 300yds passing.
  • Sam Bradford - Bradford is going against a tough Houston defensive line anchored by JJ Watt. The Texans are ranked 1st in Opponents pass yds, that alone is enough for me to stay away from Bradford if I was in need of a QB this weekend. Add that to the fact that Houston already has 14 sacks this season and the more Bradford is sacked the worse his performance and I expect at least 4 this weekend.
Check back in tomorrow afternoon for my RB/WR list.
