NFL Fantasy Football Who's Hot/Who's Not -WR's- Week 7

This is a great week for WR pick-ups if you need one. With OAK and NO on Bye this week it shouldn't be too difficult to get a replacement if you have Denarious Moore, or one of the Saints receivers (if you have a Saints or Oakland receiver this list should really help you, because lets face it you need it)*.

WR - Who's Hot
  • Keenan Allen - Say hello to Phillip Rivers new favorite target. With over 100 yds receiving the past 2 weeks to go along with a TD in each of those games, Allen has received 21 targets over those weeks and caught 16 passes. Allen should continue to see his work load increased and by the looks of things he will handle it nicely. Start 'Em if you Got 'Em.
  • Justin Blackmon - Blackmon has already recorded 19 catches for 326 yds in his 2 games this season. This weekend against a Chargers secondary that is giving up about 1 receiving TD a game, Blackmon will be on the receiving end of that stat this week.
  • Josh Gordon - Gordon is averaging 108 yds per game since his return in Week 3. Going against a Packers defense that is giving up a little over 1 TD a game thru the air and Gordon getting most of QB Brandon Weeden's looks especially down field. I will be starting Gordon this week.
 WR - Who's Not
  • Dwayne Bowe - Bowe has yet to topple 100 yds receiving this year and the Chiefs going against the #1 ranked pass defense in Fantasy Football in the Houston Texans. Also with QB Alex Smith being more of a short pass kind of guy, Bowe won't be worthy of starting in any league this week.
  • Seattle WR's - There are 2 things that made this decision for me. 1) The Arizona Cardinals are ranked 2nd against the pass thanks in large part because of All-Pro CB Patrick Peterson. 2) The Hawks receiving corps might be efficient and reliable but its just that Coach Carroll loves to run the ball which makes a bad fantasy day for the Hawks receivers every week.
  • Anquan Boldin - Boldin does not do well against top ranked defenses! He has played the top 2 ranked defenses in the previous 2 weeks (HOU, ARI) and this week takes on the 3rd ranked defense. He has recorded 5 catches for 49 yds in those previous 2 games, expect more of the same this week.

Hopefully this advice will help you out this week and help pad the "W".
Good Luck!

*Yes, the Saints have Jimmy Graham but he is a TE.
